Clemyjontri

We just took a field trip to Clemyjontri Park in McLean, VA. This trip was the kick-off for our S.M.Art project where we'll be looking at force and motion in action. Each student had a sketch book where they were asked to draw 3 things that swing, spin, and rock, and 3 things they could run and climb on. Once back at school, the students will be working on turning one of their drawings into a relief sculpture. Stay tuned!

The day was beautiful and the trip was great fun! Thanks to our parent volunteers and all of the teachers that joined us too.
